Mindful Parenting Workshop
Parenting is rewarding and nourishing, but it can also be stressful especially when you experience a non-stop stream of changing emotions. There are many variables you face as a parent, and the one you can have the most influence is yourself.
Practising mindfulness helps you learn to slow down and attend to your children with self-compassion and you will have a greater awareness to manage your responses to stressful situations better and appreciate the precious moments with your families. In this one-day mindful parenting workshop, you will have psychoeducation, group discussion, stress management exercises and short mindfulness practices.
As parents, perhaps the most precious thing we can give our children is the gift of our full presence, in the moment. This is the deep intention and invitation for parents as they make space for mindfulness practice in their lives. Mindful parenting takes to heart the deep truth that we can only give to our children what we have given first and fundamentally to ourselves.Lisa Kring

What Mindful Parenting workshop attendees said...
It has been incredibly reassuring to realise that I am not the only parent struggling with doing the right thing for my kids and that it is okay to make mistakes. I have used “mindful listening “ a lot to my boys and the difference is incredible. Such a powerful tool to learn for the whole Family. Thank you!
